We at Math and Science Clubs of America have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions that we receive from parents.

How Do I Become A Member? 1.Each student must meet the age/grade requirement. 2. Students accompanied by a parent/guardian must attend registration/orientation session

What Is The Cost For Membership? There is a $75.00 Enrollment fee (includes Club Journal and Field Trip T-Shirt) due upon registering, and a weekly $25.00 sessions fee.  Late pick-up fees apply.

Is There A Maximum Enrollment? Yes each session is limited to 10-12 students. Due to the continual progression of the curriculum, two absences within the month will forfeit your selected space to a waitlisted student.

Is There A Waitlist Available? Yes, since the number allowed within each club level is limited, a waitlist is sometimes necessary

Does The Student Enrolled In The Program  Need To Be A Reader? No, because of the advanced curriculum used, we welcome students that have not yet learned to read.

Are Additional Fees Attached to Field Trips? Yes, whatever charges that are required by the visiting institution

When & Where Are The Meetings Held? Meetings are held at local libraries, CityCentre, or YMCA center. Some meetings are held within day-schools programs and home-school venues.  

How Long Are The Meetings? Each meeting is 60 minutes excluding field trips

What Are The Qualifications Of The Instructors Within The Club? All of the staff members are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and a level of expertise in the area of which they will participate. Directors are required to have a minimum of a Masters.

What Differences Can I Expect To See In My Child Based Upon Club Membership? You will begin to see and hear analytical approaches to simple situations. You will begin to see that 'Out-Of-The-Box-Thinker' emerge

Do You Work In Conjunction With The Students Grade Level Curriculum? The focus of Math & Science Clubs is to cause your student to excel. Our curriculum is unmatched. It will not only coincide with the students grade requirements but cause them to stretch beyond

Are Educational Competitions Optional? Keep in mind that Math and Science Clubs are built upon our reputation of building the next generation of leaders; and our leaders welcome the opportunity to exemplify their levels of expertise.

My Child Is Home-Schooled Can They Participate? Absolutely.

Is There A Summer Camp Associated With The Club? Currently no summer camp for 2019; however plans are in place for Camp2020
